Potštejn

We woke up early Saturday morning and took a train two stations away from Zachlumi to Potštejn and we took a tour of the castle there.  First the older kids and I went on a tour of the dungeon.  They had it set up sort of like a haunted house.  They had audio telling the story of a murderer from centuries ago and how he was locked up in the dungeons here.  It was super dark and you had no idea where you'd be going next even though there was a guide who took us through the dungeons.  While we did that Marketa took the boys through a fairy tale tour in a different part of the castle.  Then we toured the rest of the castle which has been restored and was only reopened 6 years ago.

A mysterious treasure? Surely there must be one somewhere!

After our tour we went to the Cukrárna (Confectioners or Sweet Shop as we like to call it) for coffee and treats while we waited for our train back home.
