Mushroom Hunting

Everytime we go back, we must make time to look for mushrooms.  A very common Czech activity.  They told us we wouldn't find any because it has been too dry, but sure enough we were able to find several.

Zamberk...Petr's Hometown

We arrived in Zamberk late Tuesday night.  Had a quick dinner and went to bed around 10 pm Czech time. The kids all slept through the night and seem to have no problems with jet lag.  Wednesday afternoon we went for a walk around town and relaxed at Libor's house.

cast.  The design and writing were
done by Petr's relative, "Uncle" Zdenek.

Pavel wasn't able to meet us at the airport, but we were able to connect about an hour later at a McDonald's.  Luckily we were able to see him.  He was scheduled to go climbing in Spain, but 30 minutes before his plane was to take off his friend who he was going with called him and said his girlfriend was very upset that he Pavel was coming along, so lucky for us he is here.  He will hopefully be able to go along with us this weekend to Cesky Krumlov for the Saint Wenceslas Festival.
